Handling image editing steps

Okay, I’ll start by enhancing the contrast slightly using a 1.1 factor. Sharpening with UnsharpMask next, setting the radius to 2, and percent to 150. I’ll also resize the image with LANCZOS, making the long side about 2k pixels, and export it in both PNG and high-quality JPEG formats. The user didn’t specify, so I’ll cover both options. No need to restore small text, I think.

Optimizing image size and processing

I'll first inspect the image size. If the max dimension is under 1800, I'll go with a 2x factor; otherwise, it’ll be 1.5x. I’ll denoise lightly using GaussianBlur to keep things sharp. Then, I'll generate two outputs: "enhanced_2x.png" and "enhanced_2x.jpg" (quality 95). The user will get both options to download. Maybe I’ll also crop out the black frame. Lastly, I’ll display the result and provide a sandbox link.

Proceeding with image processing

The user didn't ask for cropping, so I’ll keep the IG story's top bar as it is. I’ll add a message in Russian: "Готово! Вот улучшенная версия (2× масштаб, шумоподавление, повышение резкости, контраста). Скачать PNG/JPG". Since we're not using image_gen, summarizing is fine. I’ll also check if the path exists and try to display the image in the Jupyter environment.
