  • Переменные называй короткими буквами (a, b, c, d, i, j, k, n, m, s, t и т.

Analyzing array coverage

I’m characterizing when every index belongs to an equal-endpoint interval whose interior is smaller. I’m testing filtered occurrences, boundary conditions, interval chains, and whether a greedy construction can determine beauty efficiently.

Analyzed array coverage****Exploring edit strategies

I’m relating good pairs to monotonic-stack visibility: equal values become paired when no intervening value reaches their height. I’m testing whether minimum edits reduce to covering uncovered ranges, while accounting for one edit creating multiple useful intervals.

Computed minimum edits with interval dynamic programming and validated stack algorithms****Seeking a construction

I’m examining how each block’s labels can be arranged so neighboring cells differ, especially when block sizes and boundary orientations vary. I’m considering path-based assignments and trying to infer the intended construction from the examples.

Sought a construction****Modeling label assignments

I’m reframing the construction as a permutation problem: each block uses every label exactly once, while neighboring boundary cells must avoid equal labels. This may connect the grid structure to a general matching or coloring argument.

Validated permutation, derangement, and greedy block construction feasibility via dynamic programming and brute force****Solving the construction

I’m considering whether a general coloring theorem or a structural property of the block grid guarantees compatible permutations. The exact problem statement may clarify the intended method, so I’m trying to identify its source.

Tested matching, DSU, and partition constructions under structural constraints****Refining local compatibility

I’m narrowing the difficult cases to tiny blocks, especially sizes one and two. Larger blocks offer more label flexibility, while local adjustments or alternating patterns may resolve conflicts across neighboring boundaries.

Balancing small blocks

I’m focusing on greedy assignment failures in unit and two-cell blocks. Larger blocks can absorb constraints, while small-block chains may require backtracking, local repairs, or carefully chosen alternating patterns.

Analyzed block placement constraints and tested shift feasibility approaches****Estimating intended complexity

I’m using the unusually small total cell count to judge the likely solution. That may permit matching, flow, or structured search, though I’m still comparing these options with simpler constructive patterns.

Reframing by values

I’m testing a value-by-value construction: each block places every label once, and at each level, eligible blocks choose unused cells while avoiding equal labels across shared boundaries.

Estimated complexity and reframed the approach by values****Testing independent transversals

I’m assessing whether each label level can be chosen as an independent transversal among blocks. Matching boundaries simplify conflicts, but small candidate sets remain the main obstacle, so I’m comparing this with grid-specific methods.

Tested independent transversals****Connecting to coloring

I’m viewing the grid as a graph-coloring problem: cells within each block need distinct labels, while boundary-adjacent cells must differ. I’m still seeking a guaranteed construction rather than relying on heuristic search.

Connected to coloringSearched 1 websiteConnecting coloring models

I’m treating the task as graph coloring with block-wise distinct labels and unequal boundary neighbors. I’m still looking for a deterministic construction, since heuristic search or broad existence theorems may not handle the smallest blocks reliably.

Connected coloring models****Identifying the source

I’m trying to locate the original contest problem so I can replace speculation with the intended theorem or construction. The grid-coloring formulation appears clear, but the smallest blocks still need a guaranteed treatment.

al=ar=max⁡(al,…,ar).a_l=a_r=\max(a_l,\ldots,a_r).

q1(l)=первый j>l,aj>al,q_1(l)=\text{первый }j>l,\quad a_j>a_l,

p(r)=последний j<r,aj>ar.p(r)=\text{последний }j<r,\quad a_j>a_r.

al=ar,r<q1(l).a_l=a_r,\qquad r<q_1(l).

al>ar,r<q1(l).a_l>a_r,\qquad r<q_1(l).

Тогда меняем a[r] на a[l].

al<ar,l>p(r).a_l<a_r,\qquad l>p(r).

Тогда меняем a[l] на a[r].

al=ar,q1(l)<r<q2(l).a_l=a_r,\qquad q_1(l)<r<q_2(l).

text
a[1] = 10^9 a[n] = 10^9

4. DP

  • b[i] — префикс 1..i разбивается на хорошие блоки без изменений;
  • c[i] — префикс 1..i разбивается с ровно одним изменением.

b[0]=True.

  • по каждому значению — старт с максимальным q1[l];
  • два лучших старта с различными значениями концов для случая a[l]>a[r];
  • два последних старта с различными значениями для случая a[l]<a[r];

  • все массивы значений 1..3 для n=2..7: 3276 тестов;

text
OK 5276 cases

text
1 1 3 1 5 7 0 2 1 1000000000 8 1000000000 0

На случайном n=200000:

text
0.96 sec 129560 KB

R=(r1,r2,…),C=(c1,c2,…).R=(r_1,r_2,\ldots),\qquad C=(c_1,c_2,\ldots).

  • кусок длины 1 жёстко равен [1];
  • кусок длины 2 имеет лишь две ориентации: [1,2] и [2,1];

1 | 2 1 | 1

или

text
1 | 1 2 | 1

  • первые три теста проходят;
  • в четвёртом R=C=[1,1,2];
