Dear Jane,

How are you? I am in the Serengeti now. It is a very beautiful place in Africa. There are many wild animals like elephants, lions and zebras. The Maasai people live here with the animals. They keep cattle and have a traditional way of life. Many tourists come to the Serengeti to see the wildlife. The Maasai have some problems because there is not enough land and water. They do not want to leave their homes, but they are slowly changing their lifestyle. I am happy to be here because the Serengeti is an amazing place.

Love,
Rachel
